Farm and Ranch Veterinary Service LLC
We provide mobile health and reproductive services for cattle, horses, and other livestock in Southeast Arizona. As believers in the old adage "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure", we pride ourselves in promoting preventative practices to help ensure the health, well being, and productivity of our four-legged friends. Emergencies do happen, and we will do our best to help you through them, but imagine how much better it would be for all parties involved to avoid as many of these as possible.
Devon Kartchner, DVM
Dr. Devon Kartchner grew up in the small town of St. David Arizona. He was raised on a farm and ranch and learned to enjoy working with cattle, horses, and other livestock. This led to his decision to pursue a career as a veterinarian. He started his own horse shoeing business in high school and continued to support himself through college working as a farrier. After receiving his Bachelors of Veterinary Science from the University of Arizona, he attended Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in May 2018.
Dr. Kartchner enjoys working with beef and dairy cattle operations helping to improve reproductive efficiency and herd health. He also enjoys equine dentistry, lameness, and reproduction. When not working as a veterinarian, Devon enjoys helping manage the family farm and ranch and spending time with his wife Deidre, and their three kids, Clay, Adalynn, and Hailey.
